Important lesson for the day.

Apparently I am a subconscious air-raid warden, because if there’s even the slightest elevated light level from what I’m accustomed to, I will not be able to sleep very well, if at all. That was discovered last night when I forgot to turn off the bathroom light, on the other side of my bedroom door, and it nearly kept me up all night.

I apologize for three no-content posts in a row, but tonight was ludicrously busy for me and I am just now (10:45p) getting things ready so that I can go to bed. Sorry.

So I had a nice dinner, take-out. About halfway through it I stopped and realized that they may have given me actual meat instead of the vegetarian version I’d ordered. It’s hard to tell.

This is either going to be a normal night or a very long one…

Folks, it is officially too hot to blog. I’m off to bed under an A/C vent and a fan turned on high.

I just played a game that featured a final boss named “Tyrannosatan”. As in, the terrible thunder lizard which is also The Prince of Darkness and Father of Lies, Lord of the Pit, Anathema To All Holiness.

Deathsmiles is just that kind of game.

As per my usual idiom, I rolled a d20 to determine what game I should focus on finishing to get the next Clear.

As per my usual luck, I rolled a 1, signifying a game I hadn’t even started yet. Hopefully Tales of the Abyss is short…

So, I’ve made it through what’s been probably the most restless and work-addicted week of my life since my days at Gannon. That says something, probably more about how lucky I’ve been at my gigs so far than about how rough the week has been on me– physically and mentally. But, the good part of all of this is that the worst is over now, and I feel I can go back to promising daily updates. More to the point, I actually have a lot of real, honest-to-God content that I want to go over. And I will, I promise.

But tonight? Tonight is a night of feasting and of relaxing. Catch you tomorrow, folks, with some notes on These Hopeful Machines.

Really, I could listen to that clip for hours and still feel relaxed.
