(Sorry, folks, but my internet service has dropped the ball– completely unrelated to any rumors you may have heard, I should add– so I’m likely not going to be able to get any posts of any substance up and running over the next couple of days. I’ll try to post from the phone whenever possible and feasible, but don’t count on much more than just brief observations. With any luck we’ll be back in business on Monday.)

I missed being able to post for today, primarily because I was filming footage for the Life in One Day project. As it turns out yesterday was profoundly boring, and I’m not even sure I’ll submit any of my video for the project… but it did serve its purpose in getting me a little more practice with the video camera in advance of Otakon. I also wrapped up the essays needed for Essay Week, so without further delay, I’ll be posting the first one… now.

The less said about the past three days, the better. I was indisposed most of Friday, and Saturday was spent dealing with the small matter of getting my car inspected and registered for the year (something which I always assume is going to be expensive, and always underestimate how expensive it’s going to be).

Today I spent getting some housework done and getting about half of the Imperial Guard sprues I have left to assemble primed up. I’m going a bit lighter on this initial primer, because the first batch of figures I did for the Guard were over-coated and look a little chunky. Still, with the drying line I made, I can have a lot more sprues painted each session than before, when I was just laying them down on another piece of cardboard.

Tomorrow, I return to something approaching a normal schedule, and that means peace. For now.

Work is heating up. By heating up I mean I’ll be lucky to sleep in the next week and a half. I’ve already had to cancel every single leisure or side-project activity I had planned, and it’s still not enough. So I have to put the posts on hiatus for the time being. I don’t even have enough time tonight to get Bailout together for the next two weeks. No further information is available. Deal with it, because I have to.

….I hate the fact that I had a missed post yesterday, but not nearly as much as the fact that I don’t have anything worth talking about tonight, either. With any luck I’ll get some rest and have a real post tomorrow night… assuming I don’t lose track of time with Steam for the Mac (and assuming Valve actually delivers on their “buy-once-play-anywhere” plan which I still adamantly believe is a blatant lie).

I meant to have a post up for today, but failed. Sorry.

Sorry, but that Game Clear notice is about all you’re getting from me tonight in terms of content. Kinda tired, but hopefully tomorrow I’ll have something substantial, if for no reason other than to keep this week’s content-to-days ratio over 50%.

Sorry about the two-days-in-a-row-with-no-content thing. Been busy gaming and doin’ other stuff. Tomorrow I should have a more solid post ready.

…….the big post about FF13 was supposed to go on time delay for today. Sue me. I was hopped up on chamomile. (Can you really be “up” on chamomile tea? Isn’t that sort of the opposite of its normal effect?) Anyway, a proper post should be up later today. If not, well.
